Student Council
Student Council, along side of their advisor Mr. Trexler, are busy meeting and planning for this year. Student council members represent the student body. Mr. Trexler explained that student council gives students a voice for school improvement. “We always lend a hand to help teachers, plan and organize the social, and continue to raise money for a service dog for a child in our area,” he said. Members get to help him decorate our school, whether it be by putting up banners or stringing lights, it’s always a fun time.
This year, Student Council will plan and decorate the social, share ideas for spirit week, continue collecting can tabs, and coordinate the annual door decorating contest. Student Council is also planning on working with the Hope Center on a community service project. Every Friday, the students meet in the Media Center to plan and work on projects.
