National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society is an organization that recognizes academics and other positive character traits in students. Members of the Bellwood-Antis Chapter represent our school through volunteering, being a leader, showing good character, and demonstrating good citizenship.

Members this year have helped at the community Hope Center, tutored students, volunteered at reading competitions, and wrapped gifts for the holiday shop.  Our NJHS has plans to continue to support our school and community throughout the year.

To join the National Junior Honor Society, you are required to complete an application that shares what you’ve done in your community, any leadership positions you have had, and what recognition and award you have received.  Members are selected and approved by a committee. If selected, there is a ten dollar requirement to help pay the fees for being a part of the nationally recognized chapter. You must also have an excellent academic performance.
