Just Junior: Miranda Tornatore
Miranda likes to help out with the morning announcements
Miranda is a junior here at B-A who has been going here her whole school career.
Miranda plays golf and will be making her return to volleyball next year. Her favorite sport has always been volleyball.
Her favorite class is chemistry with Mr. Carr because she finds the field really interesting. She said, “You have to constantly think creatively about how to overcome problems.”
After high school Miranda plans on being a dermatologist, she hopes to go to Penn Highlands for her basic classes and then advance to Juniata College to study pre-med.
Outside of school Miranda enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and playing with her cat, Ira.
She also has a job at Rossi’s corner store, which is right by where she previously worked as a life guard at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park.
Some tips she has to staying motivated and for upcoming juniors is to regularly review your goals throughout the entire year and to stay involved and not take it easy because, “You got one more year until you can kick back and relax.”
