Jacob Caracciolo stars as Albert Peterson in the up-coming spring production!

In the up-and-coming musical production of Bye Bye Birdie this spring, Jacob Caracciolo will star as Albert Peterson! In the show, Albert is the owner of the record label Al-Mae-Lou Music which is the label that Conrad Birdie is signed onto.

We asked him a few questions about his musical journey and what he’s looking forward to most:

Blueprint: What is your role in the musical?

Jacob: Albert F. Peterson

Blueprint: Why did you choose to participate?

Jacob: I did Beauty and the Beast freshman year and had a great experience. Then, I also enjoyed Grease, so now I’m here!

Blueprint: What is your favorite thing about being in the musical?

Jacob: I love when we get to the point where we get to run the show over and over and prepare for an audience. Also, the friends you make are a huge plus.

Blueprint: Have you participated in previous musicals before?

Jacob: Yes, Beauty and the Beast and Grease.

Blueprint: What can the audience expect from this performance of Bye Bye Birdie?

Jacob: A jaw dropping, outstanding, edge of seat onning, best show of the decade performance.

Blueprint: Did you know about Bye Bye Birdie before the musical was decided upon?

Jacob: NO.

Blueprint: Who do you think the audience’s favorite character will be and why?

Jacob: Definitely Hugo Peabody because it’s a funny part played by a humorous person, Collin Mathews.

Blueprint: Give us your best pitch on why people should come see the musical.

Jacob: The real question is why not? (Come support the people who work very hard and long to put the show together!)

Congratulations Jacob! We can’t wait to see the production!
