This week’s Super Senior is Kevin Stiver.
Stiver is involved in Blueprint and NHS.
“NHS is an encouraging program. It pushes you to succeed in school and help others in the community,” said Stiver when asked about his involvement in the program.
Stiver’s favorite subject is History. He even put forth efforts to research, restore, and write about the historical town of Glen White.
“Kevin can view life through a historical lens. He is wise to the world. He knows what is happening and why it’s happening,” said Mr. Rhone, his Current Events teacher.
Stiver says, “I love learning about the past. It’s interesting to see how it affects the present and how times have changed.”
In his free time outside of school, Stiver enjoys biking, hunting, researching and presenting local history, attending events in his community, spending time with his friends and family, spending time at Glen White, and working at the Baker Mansion History Museum.
Even with all of his activities, Stiver has goals that are bound to keep him busy throughout the year.
Stiver wants to learn a new instrument, read more, and hopes to worry less.

I have 2 of your books. Great research. I am originally from New Jersey and enjoy learning the history here.
