As the junior class secretary, vice president of Mock Trial, and a varsity track and soccer player, Noah Gulvas has a lot on his plate. However, he manages to balance it all with his schooling and his hobbies outside of school.
Gulvus is this week’s Just Junior.
Gulvus’ favorite class is American Law, and his favorite teacher is Señora.
“I like how I can easily joke around with her. She also runs the Reading Competition team, which I enjoy being a part of,” said Gulvas.
Reading Competition is just one of many extracurriculars Gulvas is involved in. He’s the junior class secretary, the vice president of Mock Trial, a member of the student board at school board meetings, a member of Mini-THON, the Renaissance junior class representative, FCA, NHS, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He is also a member of the varsity soccer and track teams.
“I like that when playing soccer with Tyrone, everyone on the team works well together even though we’re from different schools,” said Gulvas.
Outside of his extracurriculars, Gulvas spends his free time hanging out with friends, lifting at the gym, listening to music, and watching movies. His favorite film is Dazed and Confused, and he enjoys listening to older rock or folk music.
Gulvus’ future goal is to apply to the Air Force Academy. He has been making strides to prepare with help from Mrs. Riddle and Mr. Lovrich. He hopes to become an intelligence officer in the Air Force.
