After starting the season 0-2, everyone counted them out and doubted what they could become.
Instead of giving up early on the season they locked in and trusted each other.
“I’m excited for tonight, I didn’t expect us to be here, but we put a lot of work in, so I’m excited for it to pay off.” Senior Lilly Gerwert said.
Doing that they managed to fight back and earn themselves the 4th seed in the PIAA District 6 2A Girl’s basketball playoffs.
The ladies have also won 6 of their last 10 games to end the regular season on a high note.
Being the higher seed means the girls will take on United at our home gym.
United is standing at a record of 14-8.
The Lady Lions have won their last 7 games and are looking to keep that streak going tonight.
