Just Juniors: Jack Showalter
February 23, 2017
Students at Bellwood say that Jack Showalter is more than just a student, he is also a great friend.
Jack is a junior whose main goal is “to become prepared for college and to have fun!” What Jack likes most about Bellwood is that it is a small town and school where “everyone really knows everyone” creating more friends than enemies. Jack’s favorite subject in school is chemistry.
Jack is very active in after school extracurricular activities. He plays offensive line, and linebacker for the Bellwood-Antis football team. He also plays catcher for the Bellwood’s boys baseball team. He takes advantage of his free time as well. “In my free time I go fishing with my buddy Shawn Wolfe.” He also relaxes, “ I also usually just chill with Eric Morder.”
Outside of school, and his activities you can find Jack cooking a great meal. “Something that most people don’t know about me is that I’m a really good cook.”
Jack looks up to his parents as examples. “I look up to my parents most in life because I strive to be as good of people they are someday,” he said.
Jack is looking into the future with high hopes and hard work. “I’m looking forward to my senior year of football and baseball. I’m also looking forward to making more great memories with my classmates.”
