Mr. Partner was inspired to become a teacher by retired B-A educators.

I recently had the chance to sit down with Mr. Partner and talk to him about his life in and outside of school. Here’s what I found out from his answers to 15 of my questions.

Why did you start teaching and why did you decide to teach English?

To make a positive impact on young people’s lives.

Do you have any kids and if so, how many?

I have three kids: Alyson 13, Jalynn 11 and Bradyn 9.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Spending time with family, watching/coaching sports, and listening to music.

What’s your favorite food?

Chinese chicken and broccoli

Two former teachers I had a B-A: Ms. Susan Kovensky (9th Grade) and Mr. Rich Tate (12th Grade)

Do you like student having iPads?

Yes and no. Technology increases student engagement; however, students must make smart decisions on their iPads, and now teachers have one more thing to manage in the classroom.
