BA HISTORY 101: high school opens new library

Bellwood-Antis opened a revamped high school library in 1990.

The Bellwood-Antis Middle/High School Library was opened on Monday January 29, 1990.

At the time the librarian was Deborah Goldstein, who at the time said, “Bellwood has a beautiful new library with adequate space to improve the library collection.”

Mr. Michael Sakash was the principal of Bellwood-Antis in 1990 and said the library would be a good addition for the Middle/High School students.

Now at Bellwood- Antis the library that once was is a media center for Middle/High school students, and most of the books are gone. The media center opened in 2016, and the students go there to relax and get away from the stress of High school and Middle school, or to grab some refreshments at the snack bar.
