Devils Fall In Season Opener
Last Friday the boys basketball team hosted Tyrone in the season opener.
The Blue Devils played strong through the first quarter, leading 12-10, but slowly slipped up heading into half time, giving Tyrone a very comfortable 26 point lead.
Unfortunately the Blue Devils couldn’t get back into their rhythm, and the Golden Eagles secured a 79-32 win.
Junior Zach Mallon was the high scorer for Bellwood, contributing a total of 9 points, and senior Troy Walker was right behind him with 8.
The boys will face West Branch tonight on the road for their first ICC game of the year.
