Boys Defeat Williamsburg At Home

Zach Miller put on a show for Tuesday night’s game

Last night the boys basketball team packed the gym for their ICC game against Williamsburg.

The game started off close with the Blue Devils tying at 12 at the end of the first quarter, and they kept it close going into the half, trailing by only 3 after a buzzer beater from Williamsburg put them on top.

Going into the second half the boys got the steam train rolling and never looked back, some key foul shots and 3’s in the fourth quarter put the Blue Devils on top with a 76-74 victory.

Zach Miller absolutely popped off last night! Zach finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds. He was truly in takeover mode in the second half as he absolutely dominated underneath to show why he’s the best “Big Man” in the ICC.

“It’s fun, It gets a lot of energy going in the gym, and I feel that it helps get the team in the right mindset of pure domination,” said Zach Miller on how his stellar performance helped boost his team past Williamsburg.

Troy Walker also had a fantastic game as he came away with 18 points for the Blue Devils followed by Zach Mallon who had 15.

Their next contest will be tomorrow when they travel to Tussey Mountain to take on the Titans.
