The Blue Devil basketball team has been on a roll lately. The boys started the season 0-4, but had rattled off four consecutive wins to even out their record at 4-4.

That led the Blue Devils to Williamsburg last night in an important ICC matchup.

Williamsburg got the lead early and never looked back. The Blue Pirates crushed Bellwood-Antis, beating them by 28. The final score was 74-46.

It was a tough game for Bellwood from the start as they got into foul trouble early. Zach Miller had two fouls in the first 1:20 of the game and had to sit for most of the first half. Zach Mallon, Sean Mallon, and Connor Gibbons also found themselves in foul trouble early. The Blue Devils committed 16 fouls in the first half, which sent the Blue Pirates to the line for 22 foul shots.

Zach Mallon led the Blue Devils with 10 points with Zach Miller close behind with 7.

This was a bad loss for Bellwood, dropping their record to 4-5. The Blue Devils will look to bounce back on Friday when they travel to West Branch.
