Softball wins 2 in a row

The B-A softball team has won two in a row.

The Blue Devil softball team was on a 5 game game losing streak before winning their last two games.

On Friday the girls won in a nail biter 5-4 against Northern Bedford.

Senior Gabriella Finn had herself a game to remember, recording 3 hits. Finn pitched the entire game as well. She only gave up 4 hits and struck out 9 batters.

BA had one big inning at the plate that helped propel them to victory. The Devils scored all 5 of their runs in the second inning.

The girls put up another good performance on Monday night beating Tussey Mountain 9-4.

Bellwood scored a pair of runs in both the 2nd and 3rd inning to take a 4-0 lead. Tussey Mountain was never able to get anything going as Attie Poorman pitched a complete game for the Devils, sitting 6 Titan hitters down on strikes.

Jaidyn McCracken, Olivia Kelly, Katie Robison, and Ashlyn Snyder all had 2 hits for BA. Ashlyn Snyder totaled 4 RBI’s to help Bellwood win the game 9-4.

Bellwood was on a rough stretch where they lost 5 games in a row, but 2 impressive wins in a row shows what the Devils are capable of.

BA is now 3-6 on the year and look to put another W in the books on Tuesday night when they take on a tough Williamsburg team.

Good luck to the girls softball team.
