Lady Blue Devils get big win over rival!
Wrestlers lose overall but Wilsons win.
The Lady Blue Devils faced off with their rivals, the Tyrone Lady Eagles last night at the Bellwood-Antis High School gymnasium.
The girls’ played a tough game and in the end had a 65-47 victory win.
Sophomore Karson Swogger led the team, scoring a total of 24 points. Senior Ana Hollen was next in line with a total of 12 total points and senior Kelly Leamer finished with a total of 11.
Tyrone cut Bellwood’s big lead to 6 in the 3rd before Leamer, Swogger, and Hollen took over.
Swogger had 3 3-point goals, Leamer had 2 and Hollen had 1.
The win improved BA’s record to 2-1.
Also last night, the Blue Devil wrestling team went up against Mo Valley.
Although they suffered a huge loss with a final score of 54-13, some wrestlers showed their potential by pinning their man and one wrestler won by forfeit.
Seniors Josh and Jeremy Wilson each won their match. Senior Zach Mock won by forfeit.
