Trinity Riva is this week’s Artist of The Week!

This week’s Artist of The Week is Trinity Riva! As a high school senior, Trinity is involved in choir and theatre in and out of school. With her recent success in Matilda The Musical (read here), she is thought of by others in her craft as “one of the best.”

Trinity’s favorite activities are being on stage, listening to music, watching films, and reading. “Acting, music, films, and reading are all connected” which is why Trinity likes all of them so much.

Trinity’s accomplishments in the past year include participating in three separate musicals! She started with our school show Grease, which she then went and got nominated for and won an Isaac Award in Best supporting Actor in a Female Role. She then went on to participate in both Oliver! and Matilda at the Mishler.

Trinity’s motivation is “very strong through pure love. I find so much enjoyment in doing it, and after winning the Isaac Award against a lot of different schools, it made me want to put more work into it.”

Trinity’s plans after high school include attending Penn State University and moving to Aruba in the summers to bartend. She also plans on continuing both theatre and choir into college!

“One piece of advice I would give to students wanting to get involved with theatre is just to put yourself out there and go for it! It is such an inviting community and it opens so many doors.” Trinity said.

Congratulations Trinity on being named this week’s Artist of The Week!
