Mr. Collins is a student teacher here at Bellwood-Antis High School.  He is currently attending Penn State and is majoring in English education. Prior to his college career, he was a student at Pennsbury High School. Mr. Collins has been teaching under Mr. Naylor, Bellwood-Antis’s English and BluePrint teacher for two months.

How do you like Bellwood-Antis? I like it a lot! The people are very nice and the area is beautiful. I am grateful for the opportunity to student teach here

What High School did you attend? I attended Pennsbury High School.

Why did you decide to start teaching? I chose to teach to give back to my community and because I love to read and write, which are common aspects of English class.

What do you plan on doing after college? I plan on becoming a Middle School or High School teacher.

Outside of  teaching what are your interests? I enjoy reading, writing, video games, basketball, and nature.

What school do you hope to teach at? I hope to teach at any school in Pennsylvania.

What is your favorite professional sports team? My favorite sports team is the New York Knicks.

What is your favorite food to eat? I love fried chicken.

What are you most exited about in teaching? To help other students become better at reading and writing.

Outside of teaching what are some of your hobbies? Spending time with my friends and family.
