This fall, Chance Schreier will be attending Case Western Reserve University and majoring in Civil Engineering.
Case Western is a school in Ohio that is right around the Cleveland Area, so its location and scenery stand out to Chance. This school is one of the top Universities in the country and is known for its law and engineering programs.
Chance ranked 6 in the Bellwood-Antis Class of 2024 rankings and is hoping to find a fulfilling education.
Chance’s top reasons for choosing Case Western include its location, the student body, and the quality of education that comes with the school. Not only is Chance going for a solid education, but he is going to be a part of the track and field team, where he will compete in all throwing events.
Chance has remained a three-sport athlete throughout his high school career. He is a three-time letter winner in football, a three-time letter winner in basketball, and a three-time letter winner in track and field.
Chance said he has loved many of his classes during his time at B-A but ranks Engineering and Robotics with Mrs. Flarend at the top of the list.
“I liked engineering because I enjoyed the projects we did in class, and it gave me an idea of what I could do in the future, ” said Chance.
Chance’s advice for underclassmen is, “Stay focused on your work.”
Thank you, and good luck to Chance Schreier and all of his future adventures.
