The Lady Blue Devils continued to move towards the ICC championship game with a 76-31 victory over the Lady Panthers at Northern Bedford on Wednesday.

The Lady Blue Devils made sure they knocked the Lady Panthers out early and didn’t let them score easily.

Senior Ana Hollen and sophomore Karson Swogger scored a combined 47 points.  Hollen scored 25 points and Swogger scored 22 points.

Senior Kelly Leamer scored 11 points.

Leamer was happy with the results.

Leamer said, “It was a big win over a big team to help us to build our confidence for our next game.”

Senior Selena Damiano, or Nina as her teammates call her, wasn’t sure what to say, but she knows what the Lady Blue Devils have to do as a team to continue their 20-game winning streak.

“Everything we do now is preparation for playoffs,” said Nina.

The Lady Blue Devils had five 3-point goals; one came from Hollen, another from Swogger, and three from Leamer.

The Lady Blue Devils record is now 21-1. They will face Everett in the ICC championship game Saturday at 6 p.m. at Claysburg-Kimmel High School before beginning defense of their District 6-AA championship next week.
