“Although I’ve been semi-retired for the past 25 years, I got the itch to get back in the ring one more time after watching my idol Iron Mike Tyson run (ok maybe walk) around the ring 8 rounds with Jake Paul and thought to myself ‘I can do that; in fact, I can probably do better!”
After his recent fight with the famous Mike Tyson, Jake Paul is now looking for an even bigger challenge. Picking out names of teachers out of a hat, he settled for a guy with former boxing experience, Mr. Partner. From boxing in Lock Haven, Mr. Partner has an impressive record of 1-3 which he was undefeated senior year.
After Paul defeated Tyson last Friday night, I got a phone call from Paul’s brother who said that if he fights Tyson on the undercard, would I be willing to fight Jake for the headliner…after a quick discussion with my family and medical team, I accepted the offer!
As soon as he got word of the challenge, Mr. Partner didn’t back down. He immediately accepted and is currently training in the Bellwood-Antis weight room as we speak. Comanche Garcia, who went to Lock Haven with Mr. Partner, will be the one who pushes him to his limit. He is also the current boxing coach there too.
“I think it’s cool how my baseball coach is boxing with Jake Paul,” said baseball player Zach Gonzalez.
The event will be held on June 4th, 2025 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas; the same place as the Paul vs. Tyson fight. Tickets will be sold online starting at $68.99, with front row tickets being $125.99.
I know most people think I’m just downright greedy, but it’s not about the money; in fact, I plan on donating a significant amount of the money to the athletic department to install turf fields and a boxing facility!
It’s reported that both parties will get 10 million from the fight, with their contracts stating no knockouts are allowed. Who will win in this epic duel? Mr. Partner believes he’ll be the champ.
