This week’s sensational sophomore is Avery Bardell.
Bardell is very active in B-A sports, competing in golf, baseball and basketball.
Number 5 on the basketball court, Bardell plays point guard, and he’s excited about the upcoming season.
“I hope to perform better this year, and we are definitely more prepared,” he said.
Bardell had a successful season last year as freshman on varsity, averaging 1.4 points per game. He hopes to improve this year in his second season.
Bardell does plan to attend college after high school, but there is still a long time to iron out any specifics.
“I would like to go to a 4-year college, but I don’t know what major as of right now,” he said.
Bardell added that he feels very honored to be chose as Sensational Sophomore.
