We all know Mr. Webreck, the famous Ag teacher here at Bellwood-Antis.  You can hear him with his class outside in the outdoor classroom or making noise building things.

The BluePrint staff asked Mr. Matt Webreck a few questions about being a teacher here at Bellwood-Antis, and asked students and colleagues about Mr. Webreck.

High School Principal Mrs. Lisa Hartsock said, “Students respond positively to Mr. Webreck because he is a hands-on teacher with many activities and he has a mild manner with all students.”

Senior Ashley Gensamer said, “I had Mr. Webreck in 9th and 10th grade and it was an experience I’ll never forget.”

Mr. Matt Webreck has been an Ag Science and Ag Mechanics teacher for seven years at Bellwood-Antis.  He said his overall experience has been excellent throughout his years here.

Mr. Webreck lives by the philosophy of “learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, and living to serve.”  He chose his career because he strives to make a positive impact in his community and students through agriculture.

Mr. Webreck loves the sense of small town and community found in the Bellwood-Antis community. He also does many fundraisers to help support the FFA club.  He does the fruit sale, flower bulb sale, runs a harvest fest booth and also makes picnic tables all with his Ag classes.

Mr. Webreck is an amazing teacher and shows his passion through his work.  There are many things students can learn not only from his classes but from Mr. Webreck himself.
