Cassidy Shawley hopes to grow as a leader during her senior year.

This week’s Super Senior is Cassidy Shawley.  She participates in FFA, NHS, Volleyball, and track and field.

Cassidy’s favorite memory from high school is going to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Outside of school Cassidy is employed at Spring Mount Percherons. When she’s not working she likes to hunt, fish, snowboard, help at the Excelsior Fire Department. She also likes to be with her friends.

“Cassidy is a very good person. She is smart and caring,” says one of her good friends Jeff Miller.

Cassidy’s goals for her senior year are being a leader and president of the FFA. Cassidy says, “I hope to teach underclassmen to be better leaders and hope to leave the chapter in good hands.”

Cassidy plans on going into the Military and earning a four-year degree in an agriculture-related major after high school.

“I enjoy being a student at Bellwood-Antis. Our school offers a lot of opportunities and different programs that other schools don’t,” she said. “I think that’s what makes BAHS the school that it is. There is something for everyone.”
