ICC champs!

The+B-A+boys+track+team+claimed+its+fifth+invitational+title+with+a+win+at+the+ICC+championships.

Bellwood-Antis Boys Track and Field

The B-A boys track team claimed its fifth invitational title with a win at the ICC championships.

Bellwood-Antis traveled to Northern Bedford Monday to compete in the ICC Championship and won it all with a final score of 109.

B-A has won the ICC Championship for the last 6 years in a row.

Joe Wertz threw for a new meet record in the shot put with a distance of 50 feet and 2 inches while also coming in fifth in the discus. He also won Outstanding Thrower award at the meet.

Sophomore Zach Mallon won the triple-jump, while teammate Owen Shaulis placed right behind him coming in second. It was similar in the Long jump as well with Zach Mallon placing second and Owen Shaulis placing third. Mallon earned Outstanding Jumper award at the meet.

Senior Shawn Wolfe placed sixth in the 100-meter dash and placed second inn the 200-meter dash.

Junior Evan Frye placed third in the 400-meter dash.

Senior Dylan Wilson ran the 1600-meter run placing fifth with a time of 5:05.89. He also placed second in both the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles.

Bellwood-Antis relay teams won the 1600-meter relay and placed second in the 3200-meter relay. The 1600 relay team consists of junior Evan Frye and seniors Shawn Wolfe, Dylan Wilson, and Owen Shaulis.
