Emilie Leidig returned to form with 22 points in a PIAA win over Redbank Valley.

The 3,000th point from Alli Campbell came from a layup in the second quarter of B-A’s 83-54 victory over Redbank Valley in the second round of the PIAA 2A playoffs last night in DuBois, making her only the 10th girl in Pennsylvania to ever reach the mark.

The record was nice, but even more important was that Campbell scored a game-high 35 points, continuing her dominance this season, despite receiving many “overrated” chants throughout the game from Redbank’s student section. Alli also added 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 7 steals, a near quadruple double for the Lady Blue Devils.

The win propelled B-A into the Elite 8 and kept alive its hopes of a state championship three-peat.

Emilie Leidig had an outstanding showing, dropping 22 points. Senior Macy Decker and sophomore Jaidyn McCracken scored 8 and 7 for the Lady Devils.

The Lady Bulldogs kept it close through-out the first quarter, and part of the second quarter, trading buckets for most of the time. B-A ended the first half on an 18-6 run to take an 11-point lead at halftime.

Next up for B-A is District 6 runner-up Penns Manor, who defeated the defending state runner-ups in West Middlesex, 46-39, Tuesday night.
