FEATURED ALUMNI: Shane Browder
Shane Browder (left) turned a summer job at DelGrossos into a career.
Shane Browder was working the warehouse at DelGrosso’s Park at the age of 15 and is now making a career from the experience he had when he was just a teenager.
Shane Browder, a 2011 Bellwood-Antis alum, is now the purchasing and warehouse manager at DelGrosso’s Park. He is also a member of the U.S Navy as a Corpsman, Surgical Assistant.
Browder said typical day at the warehouse starts anywhere from 5-7 a.m. He receives deliveries from vendors, manages a team delivering products to the food stands throughout the park, and orders food products for the food stands as needed.
Browder is also currently enrolled at University of Phoenix.
While in high school Browder participated in track and field, cross country, and wrestling. Some of his hobbies include hunting, fishing, video games, and spending time with his daughter.
” Looking back, high school taught me the need for self discipline,” he said. “It taught me the importance of paying attention.”
