Girls soccer hosts Senior Night

Lainey Quick, MacKenzie Gunsallus , Rebecca Lewis, Makenzie, Soellner, Madison Whitby and Annalyse Bardell were recognized last week at the soccer team’s Senior Night.

Last week the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis co-op girls soccer team hosted senior night against Clearfield.

The girls lost 2-0 to a tough Clearfield team. The Lady Bison controlled the ball inside the Tyrone half most of the game, calling for a strong defense.

There were six seniors recognized before the game. Two of the seniors were Bellwood’s own: captain and midfielder Lainey Quick and forward/midfielder Annie Bardell.

On Thursday, Tyrone lost its season finale to Penns Valley at home 3-2.

Senior Lainey Quick scored early to tie the score 1-1.

2-2 at halftime after Junior Briley Campbell assisted on a goal by Allie Blaska.

The girls ended there season of 6-12.
