Ethan Shawley, this weeks Fab Freshman is inspired by his older brother, Hunter Shawley, who graduated in 2021.

Hunter played many sports, but he succeeded most in track and went on to run at the college level.

“My brother is very determined with everything he does, and he’s a great person to be around,” Ethan said. “He’s always pushing me to do my best. He’s the biggest help with my walk with the Lord.”

Ethan plays Football, runs track, and is a part of the FCA club.

One teacher tops his list of favorites.

“Mr. McNaul is definitely my favorite teacher. He is a very helpful, nice, and a outgoing person,” Ethan said.

Ethan said Industrial Arts is his favorite class because he likes that he can do “something that I’m actually interested in.”

After high school, Shawley plans to keep playing football at the next level, but he wants to attend college for carpentry.
