Friday, during 1st period, the Moni-THON committee is holding a Stall Day.
Students will be encouraged to bring change to support the BA Mini-THON. During first period, teachers will not be able to start class until all the change has been counted. This is one of the group’s the best ways of raising critical funds for the Four Diamonds Foundation and the fight against childhood cancer.
Stall Day has been very successful in the past. Last year, 2024, the committee used Stall Day as a major component of their efforts, to ultimately raise $24,239.60, which is the highest the group ever raised.
“Stall Day is a fun activity where everyone wins! ” said Mini-THON advisor Mr. Shawn Hallahan. “Teachers get a nice little coffee break while counting change. Students get a must deserved break during 1st PD (if they bring in their change). Together we raise money for a great cause, FTK!”
The committee has made the fundraising goal for this year $30,000.
Since 2017, B-A’s Mini-THON events have raised upwards of $175,000 for the fight against childhood cancer.
