Fourteen Bellwood-Antis students were invited to Senior High County Band at Tyrone Area High School on Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. Sachse, Bellwood’s band director, loves events like this for his students.

“I think the county band festivals are a great opportunity for students, especially those from smaller bands, to perform in a large group and collaborate with students from other schools,” he said. “It’s also a great opportunity to expose students to a professional conductor and provide a memorable music experience.”

At the woodwind section, Bellwood-Antis had four members. Kaitlyn Farber and Amanda Baldwin manned the flute with Noah Maceno and Brande Robison at the clarinet.

In the brass section, Ali McCaulley, Logan Morrison, and Katie Hamer performed on different variations of the saxophone. Revel Southwell played the trumpet, and Matthew Perry played the trombone. Along with them, Tyler Frye and Amanda Albright played the euphonium while Lara Hall was on the tuba.

Rounding it out in the percussion section were seniors Nicholas Perry and Angela Young.

All of the selected members from bands around the area came together in this effort and provided some fantastic music in the concert Tuesday night.

Congrats to all who made it!
