Mandela Effect

Lordin Williams, Staff Writer

The Mandela Effect is the theory that the world actually did end and we are now in an alternate universe where the slightest things have changed. I am a strong believer in this conspiracy and stand by this 100%. I’m just hoping I can convince you.

“Hello, Clarice”- Hannibal Lecter

The most famous line from the movie Hannibal Lecter, supposedly never happened. It seems kind of strange to me that so many movies and T.V shows have referenced this, but it never even happened. In an interview, Anthony Hopkins even says the line, but for some reason, it isn’t in the movie anymore. Seems a little odd to me. If you go back and watch the movie, he never said it. So many people, including myself, remember it, but it never existed.

The Door/ A Door- Panic! At The Disco lyrics

In the song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” a ton of people remember the lyrics being “The door” not “A door” and so does Brendon Urie(Panic’s lead singer) as well. Halsey, a pop singer, posted on Twitter that she remember the lyrics as “The” and Brendon tweeted her back a comment that says “Haha, I can’t. That’s some Berenstein/Berenstain stuff right there”. I don’t know about you, but this seems pretty strange to me.

The Berenstain/Berenstein Bears

This is the most popular Mandela effect. This centers around the famous book/ TV show The Berenstain/Berenstein. As you can tell, the phenomenon focuses on the spelling of the book. I remember it being the Berenstein and so do a lot of people. There are plenty of Mandela Effects that involve spellings or the way you pronounce it. I think this is hard evidence that the Mandela Effect is real. What do you think?
