Tuesday night the Lady Blue Devils Volleyball team took on Bellefonte in their first home opener of the season. Bellwood completed the sweep 3-0, winning 25-21, 26-24, 25-21. With this win Bellwood improves their record to 1-1.
The team was led by Junior Avah Hassler with 12 service points and 18 assists. Junior Addy Turek had 7 kills and senior Jessie Corrado had 21 digs.
The victory allowed B-A to rebound from a loss in its season-opener against Bald Eagle Area on Monday.
The girls will travel to Central on Tuesday to take on the Lady Dragons.
