Julie Kraft is this week’s Artist of The Week!

This week’s artist of the week is Julie Kraft, a freshman who participates in band, softball, and cross country.

Julie’s favorite thing about band is the people she meets from it and the community formed around it as well. “Everyone is so supportive,” Julie stated about the atmosphere of the band community.

While taking part in the band, Julie also plays softball and run cross country. She excels in these activities as well, placing 19th at a large invitational for cross country. Her reason for participating in sports along with band is to be with friends also in these activities and to stay in shape.

When asked about Julie’s overall motivation, she commented, “I’ve come too far to give up now.” Her advice to other students who want to participate in band and sports is to just go for it because both are great.

She plans to continue these activities after school for fun, great job Julie!
