The Blue Devils after losing 9 straight were looking to get back in win column, but came up short to another good team in the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers losing 71-34
Bellwood has now dropped 10 straight while Hollidaysburg picked up their 6th straight
The Devils were down 21-6 but clawed back in the 2nd quarter scoring 12 but were put to sleep by Sophomore Guard Vince Albarano who had a game high 23 points with 5 threes.
Junior Jackson Dorminy kept up his scoring tear with a team high 12 points with junior Brady McConnell and sophomores Quinn Leeper and Killian Worthing all having 5 a piece.
The next game for the Devils is home today vs Huntingdon.
Girls Basketball
During a heartbreaking loss to Hollidaysburg, the Bellwood-Antis Lady Devils put up 45 in a 69-45 loss.
This is now the second straight loss under former Head Coach Jim Swaney following the loss from Bishop Guilfoyle.
The Lady Devils held Hollidaysburg to just 7 points in the fourth quarter.
Senior Lilly Gerwert dropped 13 following up with sophomore Karlie Sweigert, and senior Marissa Cacciotti with 7 each.
The Girls next game is tonight at Huntingdon.
