FFA to go to Kentucky for National Convention

On October 27th through the 30th, the Bellwood-Antis FFA will be attending the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ever since the convention’s first year in Kentucky, it has been held there every year since.

Each year, the students look forward to this trip and all of the memories that will be made along with all of the different things that they will learn and experience.

This year, the students will have plenty to do to keep them busy during their trip.

They will be going through a tour at Keeneland Racetrack, a tour at Louisville Slugger museum/factory, attend the National FFA Career Show and Expo, see a country music concert, tour Churchill Downs track and museum, tour Papa John’s Corporate Headquarters, attend a Career Show and attend other FFA activities.

Junior Abbie Boutiller said, “I am very excited for this trip.  I expect to learn a lot about FFA, especially how it started because Louisville is where the very first convention was held.  I am looking forward to this trip because we (the officers) have an opportunity to bond and become closer as a group.”

The trip is sure to be filled with lots of great experiences for all of the FFA members. We hope that they have a safe trip and have a lot of fun and learn while doing so!

I am looking forward to this trip because we have an opportunity to bond and become closer as a group.
