Alex Frederick is a Bellwood-Antis tri-athlete.

Sophomore Alex Frederick is a super athlete in Bellwood-Antis sports.  Alex is a tri athlete at B-A playing football, basketball, and track.

“To be a tri-athlete it’s a lot of hard work, a lot of dedication, and I do it for the family,” he said.

Frederick enjoys playing many sports for Bellwood, but in football he excels. As a sophomore he earns varsity minutes each week, and he has 37 yards averaging 6.2 yards in varsity games.

“It feels amazing to be a Blue Devil” said Alex, stating his dedication to the team.

Alex has been playing football and basketball, since the fourth grade.

“When I started ballin’, I was young,” he said.

Along with sports, teachers and coaches at B-A stress being a scholar-athlete.

Alrex said his grades are “real decent,” and that his favorite teacher is Mr. Brent Hughes, who teaches physical education and drivers Ed.

Alex said he will be receiving his driver license on November 22.

Working hard and getting it done, Alex Frederick is truly a sensational sophomore.
