Last Thursday, mini-THON held the second Stall Day of the year, where a total of $4,930 was raised.

“We raised almost $6,000 on two stall days. Its big.  It puts us well on the way to meeting $15,000”, commented THON Advisor, Mr. McNaul.

Tyson Irvin, who’s in charge of THON finances, continues, “It was better than expected.  We definitely expected to meet the goal and Stall Day helped us reach almost a third of it.”

During Stall Day, students bring in change to their first period classes. The teacher counts the change, and class doesn’t start until the counting is complete.

During the in-service Friday, some of the THON committee came in to count change on their day off.

mini-THON at Bellwood-Antis will take place on Friday, March 1. Last year the activity raised $13,000 for the Four Diamonds, which provides financial support for families affected by childhood cancer.

This year the committee set as its goal $15,000.
