Jr. High Speech Meet
The junior high speech team completed its season with a meet in Indiana, PA.

Last night, Jr. High Speech League competed in their final competition at Indiana Junior High.
Bellwood, took home a first place, from Duo champs Trinity Riva and Emily Zacher the second time this year.
The team did quite well this year, accomplishing their goals of public speaking.
“It was a very good season and everybody showed improvement. Most students placed throughout this season, but if they didn’t, they at least became better speakers,” said coach Kathy Taylor.
Congratulations to the following students who placed at the meet:
- 1st place goes to Trinity Riva and Emily Zacher the second time this year for Duo
- Amber Chappell and Kate Wallace placed 2nd for Duo
- Avery Turek also placed 2nd in Drama
- Briley Campbell 2nd in Poetry
- Halee Young 3rd in Drama
- Jocelyn McGwire 4th in Impromptu
- Derek Stivers and Trinity Maines 5th for Duo
- Abi Eckenrod 5th in Persuasive
- Damon Mills 6th in Impromptu
