The Bellwood-Antis Boys basketball team was home Monday night in a highly anticipated battle vs their archrivals, the Tyrone Golden Eagles.
Tyrone won 50-49 on a rebound follow up buzzer beater to deliver the Devils their second straight loss.
The Blue Devils trailed as many as 13 in the second quarter (20-7), but battled back to cut the score to 30-24 by halftime.

Down 48-46, Collin McClellan nailed a three pointer to take the lead with 7 seconds left and put BA up 49-48.
But on a final play, Mason Emigh drove up the court put up a shot that missed, then got a second chance put-back as the buzzer sounded.
The game did not disappoint as it was back and forth, ending with an exciting flourish that saw the lead change 3 times in the final minute.
Coming out of halftime Bellwood was able to heat up thanks to some huge shots from junior McClellan, who scored 11 and had three second-half treys.
Despite the loss junior Jackson Dorminy was able to drop a season high of 15 points while BluePrint Athlete of the Week Martin Fatzinger dropped a solid 8 points. Fatzinger left the game in the third quarter suffering an injury.
For Tyrone, Eli Woomer had a game high 23 points and was hot from three, hitting 6 from beyond the line. He fouled out with over two minutes to play.
Tyrone jumps to 2-2 while Bellwood drops to 3-2
The boys are hoping to break their two-game skid tonight when they face Williamsburg away.
