After defeating Southern Huntingdon 21-7 at home, Bellwood-Antis will have another division matchup this week on Senior Night.

The Devils, who leads the ICC Gold Division with a 4-0 record, will be up against Northern Bedford, which is 1-3 in the division.  Bellwood-Antis is 5-2 overall and Northern Bedford is 4-3 overall.

Bellwood-Antis should be able to get down the field on the Northern Bedford defense, which has been struggling up to this point.  The Northern Bedford defense has only eight sacks  and four interceptions on the season, while allowing 21 points per game.

Northern Bedford, with 1,400 passing yards, usually looks to pass the ball to get down the field.

The Blue Devils will use the strength of offensive weapon, Jake Burch.  Burch is a threat both running the ball and catching passes, scoring 14 touchdowns so far this season.  He and Ethan McGee have developed a real chemistry with quarterback Jarrett Taneyhill, who has thrown for nearly 1,000 yards in five starts.

The Blue Devil defense should be able to handle the Panther offense as long as they come out tackling.  Northern Bedford, with 1,400 passing yards, usually looks to pass the ball to get down the field.  However, with all of that passing comes interceptions.  Northern Bedford has eight interceptions up to this point.  When they get near the end zone, however, they usually try to run the ball. But in seven weeks NBC has yet to gain 1,000 team rushing yards.

The Blue Devil defense will need to look for ways to stop both the passing and running game this week in order to get the win.
