Bellwood-Antis scored 3 second-half touchdowns to defeat Northern Bedford on the road last Friday.

B-A is now 6-2.  The final score was 21-0.

The first two quarters, both teams were battling for the edge, but it was 0-0 at halftime.

As the teams came back out from halftime, B-A kicked things into gear and really started to play.

In the third quarter, senior Matt McMillan had a 10-yard touchdown run, giving B-A its first score in the game. Senior Cameron Wood had a 1-yard scoring run, giving Bellwood-Antis a score of 14 by the end of the third quarter.

Throughout the 3rd and 4th quarter, B-A forced four interceptions by Jake Burch, Wood, Dallas Huff, and Jake McCaulley.

“We had people step up to make the plays where we needed them. Each member of our secondary had gotten an interception to help seal the deal,” said Huff.

When the fourth quarter rolled around, Wood caught a 6 yard pass from Burch, adding onto the score, making it 21-0. Bellwood-Antis extended its lead in the fourth quarter.

This Friday Bellwood-Antis goes up against Glendale on Youth Night. Come out and watch the B-A boys play at 7:00 pm at Memorial Stadium.
